Damian Johnston is a freelance animator working in film, television and commercials. His first animation project was on film Lost In Space, which he worked on at The Magic Camera Company. From here he went on to specialize in character animation.

He later worked extensively at Pepper's Ghost Productions as their lead animator on the Tiny Planets children's TV series pilot and initial production as well as research and development for other in-house projects. Subsequently he's worked on a number of other television pilots as well as in commercials.

He co-created the animated short A Brief Good Knight with Ed Taylor for a Siggraph 2001 demonstration Of the Kelseus Cloth Simulator for max.
